Thanks for the help, everyone! :* I should have specified that I wasn’t looking for jean shorts. So I went to Gap and wasn’t able to find the ones mentioned. :( I don’t think they stock them right now. I wasn’t able to locate Hollister ones I liked either. BUT, I did manage to find 2 pairs that will work. The 3” and 4” J.Crew chino shorts are relatively opaque. And Old Navy’s mid-rise 5” are surprisingly not see-through. The material seems really thin, but when you wear them, they magically hide all the pocket seams. If 5” is too long for your taste, you can roll them up for a cute, casual cuffed look. :)
I don’t think Grey’s gets enough credit for its incredibly diverse cast. You have characters of all races, genders, sexual orientations, coming from a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds, with various psychological problems, and forming all sorts of typical and atypical relationships/family units. And the best part is, the show doesn’t rub it in your face. It makes a point without being hoity-toity about it. It doesn’t make a fuss about Cristina being Asian or Callie being bisexual and Hispanic or Webber being black. Because it’s not a big deal. Hallelujah. What a concept.
